Why isn't the animal being identified?
Make sure the animal is clearly visible and well-lit in the frame. Partial views, heavy blur, or very distant subjects may not identify correctly. Try getting closer or using a different photo.
How do I delete a sighting?
Open the Collection tab, tap on any sighting in the Sightings list, and use the delete option. You can also swipe on individual entries.
Why is my location not saving?
WildDex needs location permission to pin your sightings. Go to iPhone Settings → WildDex → Location and set it to "While Using the App".
How do I change my username or profile photo?
Tap the Profile tab, then tap your avatar to change your photo. To change your username, go to Profile → Settings → Edit Username.
Can I use WildDex offline?
Animal identification requires an internet connection. Your existing collection is available offline.
How do I report a wrong identification?
In the Collection tab, tap a sighting, then use the "Incorrect?" option to correct the label.
